World Product Awards

Conducted Annually, the Awards are an opportunity for industry to have their achievements recognised whilst highlighting their best products and services. The Awards raise the bar across all aspects of product management enabling organisations to benchmark against top performers in their industry. Submitting an entry provides your organisation with the opportunity to review its business performance and identify its core strengths. Entries are assessed using specific criteria underpinned by the program's established product award categories. The World Business Awards utilises a rigorous and dynamic framework to ensure that the assessment process is fair and objective, free of bias or influence.

The product award categories are open to all products available in the marketplace delivered through the private, public and non-profit sectors including business to business (B2B), business to government (B2G), government to business (G2B), government to citizen (G2C), business to consumer (B2C).

Eligible products include tangible and intangible transactions grouped into the following main types:

> Software, Platforms & Systems

The Awards are an opportunity for organisations to gain that competitive advantage by having their products recognised. A valuable resource that can be put to good use in a variety of communications, creating opportunities for publicity, positive organisational profiling and heightened credibility within your industry and the marketplace. The selected organisations are eligible to publicise their achievement on various forms of marketing and communications highlighting their award winning products. CATEGORIES

  Product Excellence
The World Business Award for Product Excellence recognises market-leading products or services that demonstrate overall product superiority offering a point of difference from their competitors.

  Consumer Product Awards
The World Consumer Product Awards recognise market-leading consumer products that offer a point of difference from their competitors. This includes fast moving consumer goods (FMCG).

  Product Innovation
The World Business Award for Product Innovation recognises products or services that introduce a new idea, method, technology, process or application of commercial significance and/or benefit to the marketplace.

  Financial Product Awards
The World Financial Product Awards recognise leading products or services from the financial sector.

  Best New Product
The World Business Award for Best New Product recognises exciting new products or services recently launched to market offering a point of difference from their competitors. Products entered in this category must have been launched on to the market after 1st January 2011 to be eligible.

  E-Product Awards
The World Business Award for Best E-Business Product recognises products or services that improve business processes, increase individual productivity and/or overall organisational efficiency. This includes innovative and/or strategic applications of electronic commerce (EC), information and communications technologies (ICT) in support of business processes and operations.

The World Product Awards [Eco Products] recognise environmentally friendly products or services that demonstrate innovation and commitment to sustainable living.

    Best Software Product
The World Business Award for Best Software Product recognises software products that demonstrate product superiority offering a point of difference from their competitors. This includes operating systems, development tools, applications and utilities.

  Best Educational Product
The World Business Award for Best Educational Product recognises innovative and dynamic educational products that offer a point of difference from their competitors.

    Best Technology Product
The World Business Award for Best Technology Product recognises technology products that demonstrate product superiority offering a point of difference from their competitors.
